Events include a observing the Monks throughout the week as they construct a mandala sand painting made up of millions of grains of colored sand. The monks will finish the construction of the mandala on Thursday at noon and then distribute the sand. At this week’s Saturday Morning Science, MU scientist Xiaoqin Zou will explain by understanding diseases and the proteins involved in diseases, scientists can use computers to design new molecules that can be used in treatments.
